Palermo Law, P.L.L.C.
Palermo Law was built by Steven Palermo based on firsthand experience as an injured person navigating the insurance system. After being injured in a motor-vehicle accident, he saw how confusing, slow, and adversarial the process can be for people who are already hurting. That perspective shapes how we handle every case and every client.
Today, that firsthand experience guides Steven and the entire Palermo Law team in representing injured people throughout Long Island and the surrounding communities. From the first call, our focus is simple: reduce stress, keep you informed, and move your case forward without delay. We do what we would have wanted if we were in your position.
Our team handles insurance paperwork, forms, and follow-ups so you don’t have to. We clearly explain who is working on your case, where it stands, and what comes next—so calls are returned, questions are answered, and you are never left in the dark.

STEVEN PALERMO, ESQ.
Steven Palermo has spent more than 25 years representing people whose lives were changed by serious injuries. His own experiences with a career-ending sports injury and a severe motor vehicle collision gave him firsthand understanding of the delays, skepticism, and blame-shifting injured people face when dealing with insurance companies. That perspective drives a hands-on approach focused on communication, preparation, and relentless advocacy from the first consultation through resolution.

EDWARD PALERMO, ESQ.
Edward Palermo serves as the firm’s primary trial attorney and is well known throughout Suffolk and Nassau Counties for his persuasive advocacy, strategic preparation, and confident courtroom presence. Clients value Edward not only for his skills in the courtroom, but also for his steady and straightforward communication style. CHRISTOPHER PALERMO, ESQ.
Christopher Palermo has spent more than two decades advocating for New Yorkers during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He is known for keeping clients informed at every stage of their case, taking the time to explain the process and answer questions so they never feel left in the dark. His calm, empathetic demeanor helps clients feel supported, while his strong negotiation skills and willingness to stand firm help drive meaningful results.
COURTNEY TROYAN, ESQ.
Courtney Troyan focuses her practice on personal injury law, representing individuals injured in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability incidents, construction accidents, and other serious matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from Touro University in 2023 after playing Division I lacrosse at Stony Brook University, where she developed the discipline, resilience, and collaborative mindset that shape her approach to law today. From initial consultations through settlement, Courtney plays an active role in every stage of a case—drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents while ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout the process. Known for her thoughtful, hands-on advocacy, she is proud to be part of Palermo Law’s team-oriented approach to personal injury representation.
MICHAEL RUGGIERO, ESQ.
Michael is a Hofstra Law School graduate and Long Island native currently awaiting admission to the New York State Bar. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Stony Brook University, graduating cum laude and summa cum laude, respectively. Since joining Palermo Law in 2025, Michael has focused on representing individuals injured in motor vehicle accidents and premises liability matters, including slip-and-fall incidents and animal attacks. Known for his empathetic yet zealous advocacy, he brings a strong work ethic shaped by his upbringing on his family’s farm in Kings Park.
RILEY PERRY, ESQ.
Hardworking and competitive, Riley Perry gets the job done. With an extremely technical knowledge of the law, Riley’s adversaries face an attorney that is able to dismantle any argument that should prove detrimental to her client’s cases.
